My legal practice is focused on business and entertainment transactions, civil litigation and family law matters. I am licensed in California (2006) and Washington state (2018) and handle cases in both State and Federal Court.

I am admitted to practice in all Washington and California State Courts, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington and for the Central and Northern Districts of California.

I am also a licensed Real Estate Broker, California (2009) and Washington (2020 pending).

BUSINESS AND ENTERTAINMENT TRANSACTIONS

I represent a variety of businesses, entrepreneurs, free-lancers, and talent. As a litigator, I have the experience and foresight to advise my clients on how best to protect their interests and avoid or minimize litigation risks.

I handle business formation, set-up and compliance, registered agent services, asset protection and loss mitigation strategy, joint ventures and partnerships, purchase and sale agreements, business buy-outs, dissolutions and liquidations, contract review and drafting, trademark registration and enforcement, copyright consulting and registration, entertainment agreements, transactions and submissions.

CIVIL LITIGATION

I have over 14 years of litigation experience representing individuals and businesses in both State and Federal Court. I have a high rate of success in resolving disputes pre-trial and, for clients that are proactive in seeking advice before litigation begins, without any litigation. I have litigated against and achieved favorable results for clients facing Fortune 500 businesses and multi-million dollar entertainment companies represented by big law firms.

The types of cases I handle include: Breach of Contract, Breach of Fiduciary Duty, Owner and Partner Disputes, Tortious Interference with Business, Copyright and Trademark Infringement, Royalty Collection and Accountings, Right of Publicity and Privacy actions, Idea Theft, Defamation, Employment Discrimination, and Wage and Hour Violations.

Litigation is a team effort and finding the right team can be critical. I give candid, realistic advice to clients anticipating or involved in litigation, and rigorously screen clients and their cases to determine whether I can successfully meet and manage their goals and expectations as their counsel.

My clients range from start-ups to million dollar companies, and not yet known talent to high-profile individuals and brands. I enjoy getting to represent clients from all backgrounds and lifestyles.

FAMILY LAW

I provide full, joint and limited representation to clients dealing with family law matters. I handle divorce, paternity, parenting plan modifications, child support, contempt proceedings, enforcement of judgements and investigations.

I aim to help family law clients make informed, appropriate decisions about their interests and work diligently with them to achieve the best outcome possible for their families.

MORE ABOUT ME

I earned my law degree from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, CA in 2006 and my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, in 2003. I received my AA degree from Spokane Community College in 2001, after participating in Running Start my Senior year at Rogers High School in Spokane, WA where I graduated in 2000.

I live and practice in Spokane, WA. I have two children and lots of family that I enjoy spending time with.
